TEIN Warranty
Fulcrum Suspensions, as the authorised Australian distributor of TEIN products, provides a limited warranty on all products for your piece of mind. All QS listed part numbers come with a 2 year/ 40,000 km warranty. All other TEIN products come with a 12 month / 20,000km warranty.
WARRANTY POLICY & CONDITIONSS TEIN - LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY N.B. For the purpose of this document, TEIN INC refers to Australian Distributor – Fulcrum Suspensions Pty Ltd.
Subject to the terms of the Limited Warranty set forth below, TEIN INC warrants that the product for the time period stated below to the purchaser for the use against defects when used on the passenger vehicles under normal operating conditions. If the defect is found under such conditions, TEIN INC shall repair or replace the product free of charge. With the registering of the product, issuing of the Warranty Certificate shall not in any way limit the legal right of the purchaser. This Limited Warranty is void if any of the exemptions set for the below applies even within the warranty period stated below.
Though all the possible measures taken, TEIN INC assumes no responsibility for any clerical error, including but not limited to misprinting and/or omission, in the contents of the catalogues published by TEIN INC.
TEIN INC reserves the right to revise the Limited Warranty without notice whenever the need arise. Should such revision is made, TEIN INC shall provide the Limited Warranty to the purchaser according to the revised terms.
TEIN INC, in any event, shall not be held liable to the purchaser, for economic loss, compensatory, incidental, consequential or punitive damages for lost profits, down-time, lost production, or defects in purchaser’s material or workmanship and/or for labour or shipping charges, arising directly or indirectly from the use of the product. LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS Provided the product is installed and used according to TEIN INC’s manual(s) and instruction(s) solely for TEIN Inc’s intended purpose(s) under the normal condition, TEIN INC shall repair or replace the product free of charge if the defect is found.
1. Terms: For all QS part numbers - the period of two (2) years from the date of purchase or for 40,000km, whichever comes earlier. For all other TEIN products - the period of one (1) year from the date of purchase or for 20,000km, whichever comes earlier. 2. The product shall not be covered by the warranty if any of the conditions set forth hereunder applies.
Conditions, under which the purchaser shall be charged for repair
- The product is reformed or modified in any way, by the purchaser, the shop or the factory.
- Damage or defect, due to dropping the product, accident or natural disaster.
- External damage, including but not limited to paint peeling, upon installation or uninstallation of the product.
- The product is installed or used incorrectly or instructions and warning(s) are ignored or violated.
- Damage or defect, arising from the combined use of the product with the other manufacturer’s product(s).
- Damage of defect, due to past specification change(s) performed by TEIN INC upon the purchaser’s request.
- Work or job, including but not limited to the performance test of the product, requested by the purchaser.
- Damage, defect or deterioration, due to long term wear, after the expiration of the warranty term.
- Damage or defect caused by rust due to adhesion of seawater and/or snow melting agent.
Conditions, under which the warranty is void
- Unavoidable noise due to the characteristic(s) of the product, including but not limited to the sound generated by the pillow ball or the flow within the damper.
- The product is used for off-road purposes or racing type competitions or activities.
- The product is used outside the realms of design purposes.
- The vehicle is driven for more than 40,000km from the time of installation of the product.
- This warranty is valid only in Australia.
- The purchaser cannot provide the warranty certificate. The content of the warranty certificate is modified in any way.
- Economic loss, compensatory, incidental, consequential or punitive damages for lost profits, down-time, lost production, or defects in purchaser’s material or workmanship and/or for labour or shipping charges, arising directly or indirectly from the use of the product.
- Clerical error, including but not limited to misprinting and/or omission, in the contents of the catalogues or manuals published by TEIN INC.
- The terms and conditions of the warranty are no longer effective, due to the revision made by TEIN INC.
- Any differences compared to newer/modified version of TEIN products
THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED SOLELY TO THE ABOVE AND THIS WARRANTY AND ANY WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY GOVERNING LAW / WILL APPLY ONLY FOR THE TERM STATED ABOVE. THE WARRANTOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, CONTRACT OR NEGLIGENCE AND ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE USE OR REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT. THE WARRANTOR’S LIABILITY SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE EXCEED THE CONTRACT PRICE FOR THE PRODUCT CLAIMED TO BE DEFECTIVE OR UNSUITABLE.
SuperPro Warranty
36 Months / 60,000 km All SuperPro suspension components, which are supplied for the specific applications listed in the current catalogue and are fitted according to SuperPro fitting guidelines, are covered by a 3 year or 60,000km limited warranty from the date of the purchase and from the ORIGINAL owner. This warranty is limited to replacement of the faulty component only, and does not cover the cost of removal and replacement and consequential damage, where this limitation is permitted under Australian State and Federal Legislation. All warranty returns must be submitted by an Authorised SuperPro Distributor and must be correctly tagged for identification purposes. All Warranties (unless otherwise stated on the invoice) start from the invoice date and carry the months stated or the kilometres stated, whichever occurs first.
Fulcrum 4x4 Warranty
General warranty information for all items listed in the current Fulcrum 4x4 Catalogue 1. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser (invoice required) and / or as per manufacturer. 2. At all times warranty is voided should the vehicle be loaded above the vehicle manufacturer’s Maximum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVM) rating. 3. All warranties listed is limited to replacement of the faulty component only, and does not cover the cost of removal and replacement and consequential damage, where this limitation is permitted under Australian State and Federal Legislation. 4. Warranty is voided immediately for extreme sports or competition racing users. 5. All warranty requests must be submitted to and authorised by Fulcrum Suspensions Pty Ltd prior to return of goods. Generic Products: Fulcrum stocks a number of generic parts. These applications are shown as generic for a variety of reasons, and Fulcrum Suspensions will continue to source these generic products from leading brand suppliers to maintain our quality of product supplied to our customers. Warranty - 12 month / 20,000 kms
All “U” Bolts and Shackles/Pins in the Fulcrum Suspensions 4x4 catalogue are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of: 12 months / 20,000 kms.
Monroe
Shock Absorber Warranty – 16- series: 36months / 60,000 kms. Other: 24months / 40,000 kms.
BOGE
All Boge shock absorbers are warranted for lifetime to the original purchaser.
Bilstein
All Bilstein Shock Absorbers are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of: 12 months / 20,000 kms.
KONI
All KONI Shock Absorbers are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of: 24 months / 40,000 kms.
Raw
All RAW Shock Absorbers are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of: 24 months / 100,000 kms. RAW Big Bore steering dampers are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of: 24 months / 100,000 kms.

King Springs
Coil Springs: All King coil springs as listed in the current Fulcrum 4x4 Catalogue are covered with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against the following: 1. Faulty manufacture. 2. Breakage. 3. Loss of free height by more than 10mm.
Leaf Springs: All King Leaf Springs listed in the current Fulcrum 4x4 Catalogue are covered with a 12 month warranty against the following: 1. Faulty manufacture. 2. Breakage. 3. Loss of free height camber by more than 12mm.
EFS
Torsion Bars are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of: 36 months / 100,000 kms. EFS Leaf Springs are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of: 36 months / 100,000 kms.
Polyair - Airbag
Warranty – 12 month / 20,000 kms on bag and hardware and limited lifetime warranty on seam of bag.
Remanufactured Steering
CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY Subject to compliance with the conditions of warranty, Fulcrum
Suspensions Pty Ltd Remanufactured products are warranted against
defective workmanship and components.
- Exchange steering units are warranted for 3 years or 60,000kms, whichever occurs first.
- All accessory type items such as filters & pressure switches are warranted for 3 months or 3,000kms, whichever occurs first.
Warranty Conditions - These conditions apply to Fulcrum Remanufactured products. 1. That the unit has been correctly installed by a qualified motor
repairer and is used in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s
instructions and specifications. 2. That the unit has not been subject to misuse, neglect, contaminated
or incorrect grades of lubricant, nor dismantled or used in competition
or non-standard vehicles. 3. That the warranty card is correctly completed at the date of fitment
& retained by the owner of the vehicle for future reference in the
event of a claim. 4. Any warranty is available to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. - Fulcrum Reman. warranty DOES NOT COVER LABOUR COSTS for removal and
refitting of units after 3 months or 3,000kms from the date of fitment. - Fulcrum Reman. warranty is in addition to any non-excludable
warranties and conditions implied under the Trade Practices Act or
other Commonwealth or State legislation. Subject to this
legislation, Fulcrum Suspensions will in no circumstances be liable for
any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever caused directly or indirectly
by any defect in workmanship and/or components or by any negligence of
the company and its servants or agents and all warranties and
conditions other than those implied by law are hereby expressly
excluded. - Authorisation must be obtained from Fulcrum Suspensions prior to any
work being carried out on our behalf including any associated costs
such as freight of unit. Fulcrum Suspensions will not be held
responsible for any costs or expenses unless our claim number is quoted
and authorization has been obtained prior. Return Procedure for Fulcrum Remanufactured Products - Warranty Claims. 1. All cores must be returned in a suitable container to prevent
shipping damage. Complete a Fulcrum “Warranty Report Form”, this form
must be filled out and accompany any shipment in order to receive any
claim. 2. Supply a tax invoice for labour claims for “Fulcrum Remanufactured”
product only, showing removal and replacement times as per terms in
Labour Policy (first 3 months only). 3. Attach green “Warranty Tag” to the part. Package part and return to
Fulcrum Suspensions Head Office, along with associated paperwork, ie.
“Fulcrum Warranty Report Form”, your “Request for Credit” paperwork,
green “Warranty Tag” and “Tax Invoice” for labour if applicable. 4. Ensure that all warranty returns are clearly marked “Warranty Return Product” to help with credit returns. 5. Core eligibility can only be created by original purchaser. Credit
will be allowed only on cores that are re-buildable. Credit will NOT be
allowed on cores that are cracked. bent, stripped, rusted,
weather-beaten, water damaged or burnt. Core credits will only be
allowed against current invoices with a rolling 12 month cut off. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE CONDITIONS MAY INVALIDATE WARRANTY OR LIMIT TO A PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS/ 3,000KMS ONLY
